School Uniform

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory and we ask parents to help to maintain the high standard of appearance of our students. We especially ask that parents discourage their children from ‘interpreting’ the regulations!

There are two official school suppliers – one in Little Hulton and another in Walkden. Addresses and telephone numbers as follows:

The School Uniform is as follows:

GIRLS

Years 7-10 pupils MUST wear the school blazer.

BLAZER: Burgundy with the school crest.

PULLOVER: Burgundy with grey piping and the school crest.

SKIRT: Black Pleated with the school crest. This must be of an acceptable length for the school (pleated only). Pupils wearing skirts deemed too short may be asked to return home to change into an appropriate skirt.

TROUSERS: Black. Not a fashion garment.

SHIRT: White, with long sleeves.

SCHOOL TIE: Burgundy with a grey stripe.

SOCKS: Plain black, (Plain not patterned, black tights may be worn).

SHOES: Sensible, flat, PLAIN black shoes – no white or coloured markings. Boots and training shoes are not allowed. In exceptional circumstances e.g. medical reasons, training shoes may be worn provided the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher have given prior approval. Medical certification may be asked for in these instances.

YEAR 11

PULLOVER: Black with burgundy piping and the school crest.

P.E. KIT: Sports blouse – White cotton polo top

Gym skirt – Black

Shorts – Black

Socks - White

Hockey Socks – Black

Sweatshirt - Black with school logo

Track suit bottoms - Black “ “ “

Footwear - White pumps or training shoes.

BOYS
